TRAMPS has two different flying fields, one on Rennie School Road and the other at the Green Lake Airport. With all the new development going on, we will be losing our Rennie School field sometime in the next couple of years. We don’t know exactly when that will occur but the property the field is on is going to be developed sometime in the not-too-distant future.

We are looking for a new field to relocate to, preferably not too far out of Traverse City. If you are aware of any possible pieces of property that we could use in the future please contact Steve Plamondon (SPLAM@aol.com). We are not losing the field at Green Lake, but the club appreciates having multiple locations.

We have been very lucky in our partnership with the Olson Foundation (property owners). They have been very supportive of the club and we have very much appreciated the ability to fly at Rennie as long as we have.
